The Southwestern United States is a region defined in different ways by different sources. Broad definitions include nearly a quarter of the United States, including California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas. Narrowly defined, the "core" Southwest might include only Arizona and New Mexico, with parts of the other states making up the beginnings and endings of the Southwest. From Wikipedia under the

Just start with the names of southwestern states that you know--like Arizona and New Mexico--and pull up Wikipedia articles on each of those states. I'd be surprised if the articles didn't mention anything about how much money its residents make or what kinds of jobs they have. Which southwestern state has led the United States in copper production since the early 1900's? Asked by teragothflame - Tue Apr 10 23:44:40 2007 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments A. Copper, Arizona's premier industry until the 1950s, was first mined in Arizona at Ajo in 1854. The Planet mines opened on the banks of the Colorado River about the same time. By 1876 the Clifton-Morenci district in eastern Arizona had two large-scale mining operations. Copper mines in Globe and Jerome, both in central Arizona, also developed rapidly. The richest copper find of all occurred in 1877 in Bisbee, in southeastern Arizona near the Mexican border. By 1880, national and international advances in electrical engineering and the availability of the necessary investment capital had created a vigorous demand for copper that had not existed earlier. Q. What is the average household income in Germany? Around Munich? How does it compare to the USA? I might be receiving a job offer, and I need to be able to gauge the offer (probably in Euros) to work I might get in the USA. It's a lot about standard of living, not just money. For example, I live in a 2000+ sq.ft. house with fenced in back yard now, and I have three large dogs (that will go with me) so I would have to figure out how to live comfortably... We have two fairly new cars, a couple motorcycles, broadband internet It would be considered upper middle-class in the SouthWestern United States, it s hard for me to invision a big fenced in yard and 3-bed, 2-bath home around Munich without making a lot of money Am I wrong? Asked by laughthinkdream - Mon Nov 13 21:10:39 2006 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. It was the highest in Germany in 2005, at 17,148 Euro per person. The German average is 11,678 Euro. You should look at commuting from Unterhaching or even as far away as Landshut, you can still find quite reasonable houses and prices if you are prepared to do up an old house.
